What programs and instruments do you offer?
We offer private lessons in piano, voice, strings, guitar, percussion, and more—plus choirs, group classes, and music theatre. Our faculty covers classical, pop, jazz, folk, rock, and more.
Who can take lessons at Ekko?
Everyone is welcome—from young beginners to lifelong learners! We work with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and tailor lessons to individual goals and learning styles.
Do you offer sliding scale pricing?
Yes! As a non-profit, Ekko is committed to accessibility. We offer flexible, sliding scale rates based on financial need. Rates are confirmed monthly and can be adjusted with at least one week’s notice before the next billing cycle begins
How does billing work?
Lessons are billed monthly at the start of each month, with payment due by the 10th. We also offer weekly billing options upon request for added flexibility
What is your cancellation and make-up policy?
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a lesson and receive a make-up credit (valid for 30 days). Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for rescheduling.
Can I pause or skip lessons for a month?
Yes—just let us know at least 1 week before the month begins if you plan to skip specific lessons or pause your enrollment. We’ll adjust your invoice accordingly.
Do you offer lessons during the summer?
Absolutely! We operate year-round. Students are welcome to continue lessons or opt for flexible summer scheduling. Special workshops and seasonal programs may also be available.
