About Adina

Adina Fraser Marsman gained her love of music through her family’s country gospel group “Fraser Family Gospel.” This led her to study guitar, following in her grandfather’s footsteps as the family guitarist     . Adina furthered her studying of stringed instruments by joining school bands on bass, and soon after the Los Primos Ensemble (Preston Area) led by Jeff Goodspeed and Augusto Enriquez. 

Entering her early teen years, Adina leaned into the growth of her vocal abilities. Taking inspiration from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Bill Withers, she realized a career in music was what she needed. This started her journey of live performance at community events and church services, eventually leading her to festivals; Nova Scotia Music Week, Halifax Jazz Festival, Romerias de Mayo Festival in Holguin Cuba and many more.

Adina is a graduate of the NSCC Music Arts and Music Business Programs and will be continuing her educational journey at NSCC’s Music Production and Engineering program.

Adina’s passion for music is forever growing, and she adores sharing that passion with those around her.
