Ekko’s Improv Foundations classes are fun, welcoming workshops that introduce the core principles of improvisational theatre. Designed separately for youth (ages 11–14) and adults (18+), these classes focus on creativity, collaboration, and spontaneous storytelling—all while helping participants build confidence and communication skills.

Youth Class (Ages 12 to 17)

Our Youth Improv Foundations class helps pre-teens and early teens discover the power of saying “yes, and”—the cornerstone of improv! Through games, scenes, and exercises, students build quick thinking, cooperation, and performance skills while having a blast.

This class is perfect for kids who enjoy theatre, comedy, or storytelling; want to improve social confidence and communication; or are looking for a fun, creative after-school outlet.

Adult Class (Ages 18+)

The Adult Improv Foundations class is for anyone 18+ looking to explore improv in a relaxed and inclusive environment. No performance experience required—just a willingness to play and try something new. You’ll explore core improv techniques, build ensemble trust, and unleash creative spontaneity.

This class is ideal for adults who are curious about theatre or improv; want to loosen up and connect with others; or are looking for a fun way to build confidence and flexibility.
