The Kids’ Choir Experience

The Ekko Kids’ Choir is all about fun, accessibility, and community. There are no auditions and no pressure—kids can simply show up and start singing. Each session is designed to be engaging and playful, introducing children to musical basics like rhythm, melody, and movement in a way that feels more like fun than work. The repertoire includes a wide variety of songs, from pop hits and musical theatre tunes to traditional folk music, keeping things fresh and exciting for young voices.

What truly sets the choir apart is its inclusive, community-driven spirit. Every child is welcome and every voice matters, regardless of experience or background. At the end of each term, families are invited to a joyful, low-pressure showcase where singers can celebrate their progress and share what they’ve learned.

Why Join?

At Ekko, we believe music should be joyful and accessible to everyone. The Kids’ Choir helps children build confidence by singing in a supportive group, explore their creativity through music and movement, and form friendships in a nurturing, inclusive environment. For many, it’s the start of a lifelong love of music—and a whole lot of fun along the way.

She moved to Nova Scotia in July 2020 where she attended the CBBC Career College in Downtown Dartmouth, earning her education as an Educational Assistant. Bringing her love of homemade pirogies and honey dill, she has made Halifax her home – aiming to build community both through affordable musical education and mental health care.

Outside of EPAS, she also works as the Billing Coordinator at Diverse Roots Therapy, and is the front-woman of a local alt rock band – Montgomery Night.

Her influences range from classical, pop, hard rock, gospel, punk, and so much more. She believes in gender-affirming vocal instruction, and can help those navigating vocal care, injury, and recovery. Reagan also has extensive experience working with individuals living with intellectual and physical disabilities, and extra challenges.
